Lost my password and could not get on site forever. Anyways, still going at it with a couple top fives but still no wins. We will see what happens this friday…wish me luck and maybe I will have something to write about…..chow for now.

Here I am 3 weeks into 2011 and have not given any updates…..I guess I’ve been busy as hell and things are going ok. Opening night went ok except for giving up 6 spots with 4 to go. Unfortunately got outta shape on a restart and got freight trained and couldn’t get em back. Week 2 was a disaster when I adjusted the car for a tacky track and then it went desert dry…stupid mistake not reading the track correctly, oh well its early. Actually got a flat right rear tire with 7 laps to go and parked it, big disappointment. Week 3 was a lot better as far as the car set up. I was running 3rd in my heat and then got hammered by another car and knocked me back to 7th spot and did not qulify. I had to go to the consolation race and won that easily. Car was awesome and I had nothing to show for it in the feature as I started 21st and eventually made it up to 10th with 5 to go and another accident i went through the infield to avoid. lost some more spots but never got em back. Finished 12th. I hope thats all of the excuses I have for a while. Going to Richmond for a NASCAR race and back to the Ridge in 2 weeks. Cant believe I’m missing a racing night already..oh well. So if there is anything positive that can come from the last 2 weeks I can carry it over to the rest of the season. Special thanks to Ronnie and Jack Johnson for having me over to thier garage with the hot rod. I think Ronnie has me hooked up now, cant wait for the next race. talk to ya soon.

Man that was a long winter, awesome snow and still didn’t get enough riding in…..anyways, it’s almost that time to go in circles!!! All I do now is think about racing and I cannot wait. Just dug the trailer out yesterday and the hot rod has been in hibernation. Time to get to work, doesn’t need much but there are a few things I need to freshen up (of course). Well the opener is April 8th and seems like it’s coming fast…gotta run. Wish me luck if you are reading this….I doubt anyone is, but if you are thanks.

Well, lets just forget about this whole season…getting ready to ride the sleds and hopefully we will have an awesome winter. The hot rod is ready for next year with only a handful of races on it everything should be ok. looking forward to next season already, sitting down here in Antarctica thinking about dirt track racing..go figure!! I promise, injury free next year…lets kick some ass!!

Nice to hang out with the crew

Lets call this the lost season…11 weeks without racing and I’m trying to make up for it. Last month raced double features at Fonda and I sucked. Hit the turn 4 wall coming out of turn 4 and tweaked the handling. Found some things the next day that I bent…hate that track. Then on to Glen Ridge started 19 finished 7th and then to Lebanon Valley the following thursday started 8th in my heat and finished 3rd, then I got was DQ”d for being 10 lbs too light!! I had to start 35th and I finished 18th. My first time there and only 20 lap feature I say the car was pretty good. So good I’m going back this Saturday sept 18th for a 50 lapper. Then on to Glen Ridge the next day for a 60 lapper. Both should be a blast can’t wait. 1 more race for the year and that will be during Super Dirt week at Syracuse. Mr Sportsman Dirt 30 at the Rolling Wheels speedway. Them boys are fast out there…didn’t even qualify last time out there! We’ll get em this time.

Well a very short season only means the equipment will be fresh for next year…getting cold out so I guess we can say lets ride the sleds soooon!! Next year will be better and no more injuries, I promise!! Talk soon and wish me luck this weekend. I’ll update ya’ll next week…see ya!!

Well after surviving some jackass trying to kill me and Val last Sunday I’m all done for the season after tomorrow night. My new jetta is totaled and now I will need surgery to repair my arm after snapping my bicep tendon last Friday working on the hot rod. Man I’ve had some bad weeks but last week takes the cake. We are just glad we walked away from it and thank god for the airbags because I know they most likely saved my life. Well here goes, me and Jeff are going back to the Ridge for one last stab at it. Even with one arm last Friday the car was great in the feature so I think I finally got the set up and the track down, of course now that I’m going to be out of action for 10-12 weeks….man this sucks! Hope to see ya there and wish us luck….talk soon. I’m out of words already….later.

I didnt update ya from last week. Got 4th in the heat race and then in the feature I was 7th(lap 12) and coming off turn 2 my driveshaft broke. I want to thank whoever invented the safety loop that keeps that thing from breaking my ankles…scary stuff but the safety aspect is there-worked as advertised. Anyways the ol girl is loaded up and I’m heading out the door. Rained all week and the track should be lighting fast and heavy…I hate the dry dust. Wish me luck, looks like me and Jeff tonight.

For tomorrow night May 7th. Not too bad last week for opening points night…placed 2nd in my qualifier and finished 8th (out of 24)in the feature. And now for the excuse….my right front brake was on during the first 15 laps. Brandi noticed it from the stands and so did Val in the pit stands. Thanks Kris Kamburelis for helping me out. You and Val were awesome. Pretty much a flawless night and things moved along well. So we will see what happens when all wheels are turning for the duration of the race!! Hope to see ya there, the hot rod is good and so is the competition…gotta get it done. Wish me luck
